The Inaugural Session of the Chríost Rí Rock Department
lept into force with a BANG on Monday 28th October 2013
in the Halla. 3.15 - 4.00pm.
Mr Crehan or Dr Rock (Head of the Rock Department) is heading up this new
initiative with Mr Graham Keane Rock Band Teacher.

Band Name "Rockleigh".

Three weeks ago Ennis Town Council "Pheonix Twinning Committee" kindly
donated Funds for music after they met our band at
the battle of the bands with the Pheonix Brass Band twinning
initiative. So we used some of these funds to purchase Electric
Guitar, Bass Guitar and Amps.

Sounds from ACDC were unleashed with their first debut cover track: "Back in
Black" & " Its a Long way to the top if you wanna rock n roll".

Lead Vocalist: Jonathan Ryan 4th Class

Lead Guitarist: Derick Sholarin 5th  & Jordan McCarthy 4th

Bass Guitarist: Tinele 4th

Drummers: ABDUL 6th , KEVIN 5th and CHIBI 5th

Mr Healys Brother Aidan Top Rock n 'Roll Drummer visited the school
to meet these new rockers and The Band.

All Great Fun. Kids very excited. Rock on Mr Crehan (DOC ROCK).
